I gave my car a good clean on SAT, started with a good wash, engine bay, wheel well, interior all included. Then clayed using Megs clay, unfortunately i couldnt do any paint correction (i have some swirls and fine scratches), I tried applying some Megs UC by hand (as i dont have a DA YET) but that didnt work out so i just gave the car a good wax using Megs Gold Class Wax.

Here are some pics:

Hey Onyx, ive just got the tyres, had them for 2 weeks or so.... so far so good!!! I know quite a few guys with them on their fezzies and i have never heard a bad thing about them, very good reviews.... ClapClap
Nicely done Wayno ... your ride is still looking good ... Clap

I haven't used Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, but what was the "didn't work out" part/issue with the UC ... didn't it help to remove the swirls? Hand application too much effort? etc...

Yeah man, the UC DEF works but its way too much work to try do the entire car by hand..... PlthumbsdownPlthumbsdown
Nice Job.How long did it take to remove the lights?
Did you do the Interior?
Lovely work Wayno and great attention to detail Thumb

I had 2 Hankooks (225/40/18) on my previous GTI after I had a 6 inch bolt go through one of my tires. Never had any issues with them although I only covered around 10k km with them before flogging the car Thumb
Great work

The tailights are extremely easy to remove, wont even take you a minute!!! You just need the correct spline key to remove the bolts... Clap I just vacumed the interior and gave it a wipe down, thats all it needed!!!
