Hi

This little car has been on my waiting list for a while now and due to a last minute cancellation at last I got a chance to go and give it some much needed TLC.

There was a little suprise waiting for me as well. the rear door on the passenger side had received a nasty scrape. The owner was really hoping I could perform some magic on it. I was very doubtful at first but was really happy with what I managed to achieve.

Products used :

Meguiars Hyper Wash
Meguiars APC
Meguiars Aggressive Clay Bar
Meguiars Final Inspection
Menzerna SIP PO85
Menzerna PO 106 Final Finish
PoorBoys Black Hole Glaze
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0
Turtle nano Tech Tyre gel
Meguiars Trim Detailer

Makita Rotary
Meguiars G220
Various Megs Soft Buff Pads
Megs Boar Hair Brushes
Megs Supreme Microfibre Towels

So lets see what the door looked like before I started

And thats the end of the Ford....

Thought i would quickly sneak in a few pics of a M3 CSL I did a week ago.
I did not do a full Photoshoot on the car purely coz I was so nervous to do this car and time was a major factor.
these 3 pics are taken a week later after i did the car. No wash in between.

Nice work....M3 CSL Drool
Good work on both cars they look real good, a speciali well done on that scratch, I would of also thought it was a no go, but your level of correction was really good !Clap
Great work bud, just another reason why i am saving my money for a DA. Question: for guys who a bit short like myself, how do you go about polishing the roof with a DA or rotary?
Hi Torres1,

Basically what i do is use the Rotary with Menz SIP and Megs Red Pad,
Then go to Menz Final Finish on the Megs Yellow pad still on the Rotary, then just as good measure I do a pass on the same pad and polish with the G220, just incase there are any left over Holograms from the Rotary. Then I switch to the Megs Black pad and Black Hole Glaze, then finally another Megs Black Pad and Wolfgang Sealant on the G220.
Torres1 , I am pretty short myself and keeping the Rotary Smooth on the roof is a challenge
I have a little Step that I use if i really struggle. But yes I agree it is hard work. Def hard on the back and shoulders and arms.

Hectic but well worth it, the end results are brilliant. Thanks for the info. Just a couple of months more and I will have my very own DA.
