Yesterday I took some time off work to go and give Red VW some renovation to the paintwork.

Typical Red Car problems like Oxidised paint and dull colour.

I just love doing Red cars like this... they revive so nicely.

Here are the pics of how things turned out

Hi Vincent

Thanks for sharing your detailing work with us....the cars you work on look awesome once completed....I especially liked these pics of how you "creamed" off the swirls from this GTS. Thumbsup2

Nice work
Nice work, red looks wet, love it.
Great Job Vince.

What combo & pads did you use?
Hi AMD001

I use Menzerna SIP with a Red Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 pad for Swirl Removal and Renovation

Then I use Menzerna Final Finish with a Yellow Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 Pad for final finish

Then I use PoorBoys BlackHole Glaze with a Black Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 pad on the G220

And then Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0 with Black Meguiars Soft Buff 2.0 pad on the G220
Wow ... noticeable transformation on that Red ... Thumbsup2

Hey Vince how long you using the makita?
Sjoe good question there AMD001, Uhm I think I bought it back in Jan maybe Feb.
So havent mastered it by any means. I still use the G220 D/A quite a bit. I still have tons to learn when it comes to the Rotary.
Red has got to be the most satisfying colour to bring back to life!
