So this past SAT i tackled this Black Mazda MX-5, the car was really badly swirled!!! The client really looked after the car well, but their wash techniques obviously needed a bit of refining!!! Managed to sort it out quite nicely though!!! Clap

(Unfortunately i had the incorrct lense for the freaking camera so my pics are not that great... BawlingBawling )

One or two quick pics before beginning:

Started by cleaning up the wheels, arches, badges, ect....

I then pulled the car into the garage and clayed it, this was a fairly quick and easy process, not too much contamination on the car!!! Once that was done i inspected the damage!!! And DAMN was there plenty!!!! Swirls all over the price!!!

I then started the correction phase, i had to make 3 passes on each panal to get some decent results!!! Started with CG N0.3 on a orange Hex Logic pad to remove the swirls, that left alot of marring, then refined that with Megs UC on a white polishing pad, followed by AG SRP on a black finishing pad for a bit of shine!! Results where decent!!! :smtp25 (i must say im looking forward to recieving my stock of Menz polishes, hopefully that will make these kind of details easier in the future!!!!) ClapClap

Finished!!!! I then gave the car a final wash to remove all the polish residue, ect... once it was dried i applied a layer of Sonax Extreme Paste Wax to the body and wheels!!! while that was setting i finished off the wheels, chrome sections, ect!!! Wax was then removed by hand!!! Some completed pics!!!

Nice work, that paint was manky.
Very nice transformation Wayno Clap

Well done! The owner must be very happy.
Top notch job Wayno. I love that very first, front-on 'after' shot.

One bit of advice on the photos - take the car for a short drive before taking the photos of the wheels. Light application of the brakes removes all the surface corrosion off the brake discs and makes for a better visual impact.
Thanks for the kind words guys!!! Appreciate it!!! Clap

@Woodie, thanks for the advise, i will most def keep that in mind next time around!!! I must admit the disks do look kak in comparison to the rest of the car.... LOL.....
Excellent Work Wayno.
Car looks 100 times better.
