Hi Everyone,

I agreed to help out with this car by doing it after hours at home in my garage last nite. Total time worked on the car 8 hours.

I again wanted to see what the Blackfire could produce on this car. The colour had no flake in so I wanted to see how different this would look.

I used Menz SIP with Orange CSS Pad on the Rotary followed by Meguiars M80 Speed Glaze and Yellow meguiars polishing Pad. Then applied the Blackfire with the G220 and Black meguiars finishing pad.
Left overnight to cure and then applied by hand the Blackfire Wax this morning early.

So lets check out the eye sore before Pics

I am assmuming this was a single stage correction, which if it is, shows some pretty decent correction levels with the SIP. What sort of speeds were you running the machine at btw? I ask this because I have found that SIP really comes into its own at slightly higher rpm's (1500-1800). Correction levels at slower speeds can be mediocre on certain paints, but with a few extra rpm's the correction levels increase quite nicely Thumb
Hi David, yeah you are 100% correct in saying the SIP works better at higher RPM's. I work it up to 3.5 on the Rotary. start off at 1 to spread... then set to 2 to start working it... then up to 3... then up to 3.5 for a short time then back down to 2 then finally to 1 for final pass.
