Hi Everyone,
Was up at the crack of dawn on Sat morning to go help a friend of mine quickly detail his silver GTi as he was showing it to a potential buyer later in the day... So it was a real early start.
Then I was off to my proper detail for the day. A 2003 Subaru WRX. Stunning cars these and this example had some insane mods done on the engine. Initially the client called me about a Fuel smell problem in his car. Seems when the mechanics worked on the car they spilled fuel on the inside of the car. Which absorbed into the fabric and sponge of the car. Must say I tried all the tricks I knew and nothing really made any impact... Does anyone know of any nifty tricks or ways of sorting this problem out? I used a serious amount of Meguiars M23 Odour eliminator but as I said ... not much difference.
For the rest of the car it was my usual Robotic process around the car
Wash with Hyper Wash and APC mixture.
Clay using Meguiars Clay and M34 Final Inspection Lube
For the Swirls - Menz SIP on the Lake Country Orange Pad
For Polishing - Menz Final Finish on the Meguiars Yellow Polishing pad
Sealant applied with the G220 and Black Finishing Pad - Blackfire Sealant
Tyres - Turtle Tyre Gel. Man this stuff is so nice to use.
Total time - 6 hours.
Pre Wash befores
Swirls hilighted under the lights
Wheels after wash
After SIP
Before and After
And afters... Lighting was a bit hard to work with.
