Hello everybody,
I'm Stuart, come across from the ST Owners Forum thanks to Lambchop. I see a few familiar names from there.
The bug has bitten, again thanks to LC, and intensified my enthusiasm for making and keeping my car looking good. I'm awaiting my basket of goodies, that has been ordered off the net, to begin my hours of labour intensive work.
My first detail is going to be my Ford Mondeo ST220, which hopefully will not become a victim of bad techniques.
Welcome STaX,

Yeah LC does a mean Auto Glaze!

Are you a pilot? or just 'fly' in the Mondeo? Bluebiggrin
Welcome Stuart - I look forward to the pictures of your detailing efforts. What's in your basket of goodies?

I also love your car - I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one in good nick as a weekend toy/show car.
@ onyx: Yep, pilot, but i do enjoy a bit of low level flying in the Mondeo now and then Wink

@Woodie: I will post some pics once I'm done. If it comes out wellBluebiggrin

Stuff in my basket:
CG Maxi Suds II
CD - Supreme Drying Towel
CD - Premium Extra Thick 9" Wash Mitt
Two Way Mini Detailing Brush
Redline Signature Series - Microfiber Polishing Towels
Redline Signature Series - UltraPlush Microfiber Towels
303 Aerospace Protectant
Mothers California Gold Clay Bar System
Collinite #855 - Sapphire Leather & Vinyl Treatment Wax
Dual Action Foam Pads: White CCS Polishing Foam 6.5"
Dual Action Foam Pads: Grey CCS finishing Foam 6.5"
Dual Action Foam Pads: Green CCS Heavy Polishing Foam 6.5"
Sonax Xtreme Rim Cleaner
Megs Ultimate Compound
Autoglym - Super Resin Polish
Chemical Guys - Extreme Top-coat Paint sealant

To go with the consumer products I already have.
Once I've had a bit of practice I would like to start experimenting with other products. I truly believe that it's the best way to learn. Menz is first on the list but from what I have read, once I try it I probably won't want anything else.

Thats great.... Can we swop Detailing lessons for the Flying variety? Bluebiggrin

Front the list you got, seems like you're covered!
Add the DA polisher why dont you (speak to Carn)
A flying lesson compared to a detailing session are about the same price so sounds like a fair tradeBluebiggrin

A better polisher is on the list once I have some spare money but I have noticed these things aren't cheap. I'm unsure whether I would go DA or Rotary but I have bought an el cheapo Fragram rotary to begin with.
Welcome Stax Wavey
Welcome to the forum.

Thats quite a list of goodies you have ordered.
