Unlike JHB where everybody seems to be sick of the rain here in Cape Town we are drenched in Hot, Dry and Windy days.
Perfect I guess for car care and detailing.
Although I must say the wind can be a pain... Your just washed / detailed car gets a fresh layer of dust in less than 10 mins.

My second Black Audi TT and i must say I really enjoy doing these compact numbers. The car has nice curves and it's a nice car to work on.
Gave the car a good wash with APC and Hyperwash mixture... The mags got the Daytona Speed master brush and APC. There were still marks left on the rims after the wash which required the megs aggressive Clay to get 100% clean.

The car def had a run over with a machine before as there were some serious holograms all over the car. I assume this was the work of a panelshop with a Dry dirty woolmop and some cheap product.

I tackled the swirls and holograms with Menzerna SIP and the 3M Green pad. Correction took some effort and a few passes to get the best finish possible. Then I ran over the car with Menz Final finish and the 3M Yellow Polishing pad to bring up some shine and tackle any left over Holograms left by the SIP.

The LSP was Blackfire All paint Protection applied with the Megs D/A and a black Finishing pad.

Trim and interior surfaces were cleaned with a Mild APC solution and dressed with Aerospace 303. Leather was cleaned with APC and then some Smartwax leather was applied for conditioning.

Tyre dressing was Turtle Wax Tyre Gel.
Mags got a layer of Blackfire Midnight Sun Wax
Windows got polished using the AutoGlym Glass Polish.

Hi Zckid... I basically spent approx 8 hours on the car.

The owner must have been very happy.
