Hi Guys,

I am looking for a G220 if anyone is perhaps upgrading to the V2 or is trying to kill their addiction to save their marriage Bluebiggrin.

Cheers
Gary
Woodie mentioned selling his soon, but I think he already has an offer from someone on it.

You not interested in a new machine?
Having used the Shield DAS-6, i can highly recommend it.

Works effortlessly over a long period of polishing without a stutter Thumb
Carn I would be very interested in a new machine but at R2500 plus all the pads means it is upwards of R3000 and that might be a bit difficult to get passed the wife seeing as I would only use possibly once a month...

Shield DAS6 Kit Str8pimp

I agree though, a good used machine will offer better value for money than new, especially if you're only planning on using it on occasion Thumb
Will only be using on my wifes daily drive and my 200sx which sleeps in the garage under a cover and only gets driving on the weekends if the weather is good, so yeah the odd occasion is about how much I will be using it...

Come on Woodie sell me your V1...
Ooi Gary57, not to be nasty, but I was first on his list.
Play nicely boys Nono.

In all fairness, I did not advertise my G220 for sale. I offered it to Katotter in his thread before I was aware of Gary looking for one. So he has first dibs on it. If for any reason he does not take it, I'll offer it to Gary before advertising it for sale on any forums or classifieds.

As far as the Shield kit is concerned, you need to take into account all the extras you're getting. The G220 is just the machine with a backing plate, so you would still need to budget for pads and product. The added benefit with the Shield kit is the smaller backing plate and spot pads that are included as well.

The Shield kit contains everything you need to go from zero to LSP ready - so the <R3000 price tag is really well worth it.
Katotter no stress bud I was just kidding.

Got the V2 yesterday and today did my first detail on a BMW 120D. All I can say is it is a fantastic piece of kit, the way to removes scratches and defects is unbelievable... Hand polishing is a thing of the past.

Now need to get my hands on some new polishes and a finishing pad...
