So I decided to give my van a good clean and Wax the weekend.
Here are a few pics of the end result.
Waxed it with BlackFire Midnight Sun paste Wax.
applied using the Meguiars G220.
Buffed the residue off using a clean Black finishing Megs Pad and the G220 again.

Wow wow wow....stunning!
Awesome
Unbelievable job! The van looks dripping wet!
Stunning, you have re kindled my desire for one of these Caddys. The myriad of drab white ones I see on the road, killed it for a while, but seeing yours again, I know I need one of these, preferably in black as well, or at least a dark colour.

Looks flippin awesome man.
Its simply AWESOME, SPLENDID. Clap

Brilliant Vincent - your van looks better than the official Meguiars Caddy.
It took a whole days work on sunday... Got the new G220 V2 and was dying to put it through it's paces... Really enjoyed working with it.

Also was trying out a few methods on applying Wax on a black car... something i really struggle with. I always seem to get what looks like holograms from residue not wiping off properly. Or at least thats what it seems to me.

So I used the G220 to Apply the wax... Waited 10 mins then used a Megs Black Finishing pad to buff off the residue. Worked pretty well i thought...

Enjoyed it so much I ended up applying about 3 or 4 layers of wax on the car by the end of the day... ha ha ha - Total overkill.

Also tried the famed 'spit polish' waxing method... sprayed a light mist of water on the panel then waxed it... then again sprayed water and waxed again... not sure if this made much difference but I just enjoyed playing around.

Not often I get to spend this kind of time on my own car.
And not often that I walk up to my car in a parking lot and think to myself 'DAMN that looks good'
I find myself thinking that a lot since sunday.
LOL!! Great work indeed.
well done VincentClap
stunning results.
Looking good buddy Thumb
