Soooo..it was dirty ...very dirty, so bad in fact that the side steps were stained from the mud. I was told not too bother with them as they would just get dirty againIono. After a foamdown with Megs GC shampoo mixed with APC and a wash the paint showed early signs of oxidation(visible on the bonnet) and just an overly dull look to it. Not too many RIDs and what was there were very small. The bonnet was the worst of all the panels as this showed the worst signs of oxidation and paint scoring from the bonnet protector that is fitted(removed for polishing).

After claying the car correction was done with Menz SIP and LC Orange pad. It took a few passes until I got the desired finish and removed all signs of the oxidation. LSP was CG Extreme TC Sealant....again, for two coats(got my Jetseal to play with nowClap ). Trim was treated to my last dribble of 303 Aerospace and Megs GC trim detailer. Tyres also got the Trim detailer as it dries and does not allow dirt to stick to it. It doesn't leave the darkest of finishes on the tyres but I though it was a better option for the dirt road he travels.

The nice thing is, I did this about 2 month ago and it still looks good. Nice to see even a farmer appreciates the work.

So many white cars recently, loving it Bluebiggrin

Very very well done on this one, I'm not sure I would have even gotten past the wheel wells. How many hours did this take?

I feel like I should get an article in Farmers Weekly with all the farm cars I've done.

Oh yes! I had to clean the grass after his car.
Well done Thumb

I'm in a large farming and hunting community and as soon as I get my feet and start doing some vehicles most of them will be large bakkies and SUV's like Fortuner, Prado, Pajero etc... I saw you saying about two days, but that's for very dirty vehicles, most of the time wasted cleaning I guess. If I may ask, what do you charge for a detail of this size? You can PM me if you do not want to post it.

Again, good job.
Well to be honest it was more like 1.5 days. I had just finished a Fortuner from one of the next door farms(pics coming later) and went straight on to this. The cleaning was really done only to make sure I wasn't going to pick up any dirt on my pads during polishing. Any cleaning of this intensity on a farm vehicle is a waste IMO but the paint desperately needed some attention.

PM coming soon.
