Hola everyone!
I just waited the time I’ll be free for a whole day, but it wasn’t to be. So I managed to do this Honda civic and a Toyota Vitz over a few days. Not a full correction, but just to uplift their appearance. Both looked tired.
Here goes the Honda. the vitz will follow:
Not too many before pics. I had to work a little at a time.
Washing & Cleaning:
Oh the tape! This was a 2nd wash. The other half was done a couple days before
dried with mf towels.
Claying
Clay on half the roof. 1st round:
2nd round
It was more or less the same for the horizontal panels.
The car was taped (piecemeal of course!!)
A 50/50 shot
The half that I did before repelled the water. Water would cling to the other half.
Products used:
1. Local car shampoo n MPC
2. ONR
3. Uber clay from i4detailing
4. Makita rotary
5. LC CCS pad (Orange) + 1 white polishing Flexipad (did the lower vertical panels with it)
(Most of the time I’ve used the 4” pad. May be it’s time to move on with the 6.5” ones.)
6. One home made sun gun using led instead of halogen
7. Menz Power Gloss S34A & 203s
8. Megs 80 speed glaze that I used for lube with PG ( Don’t know if it’s good or bad but it surely increases the working time. i had 2 32 oz bottles of it, now 1 and half )
Polishing
here are some pics
my daughter was the photographer
(continued in next post. rather long)
