[/color]The fun and hard work start here
Polishing
I started with a test section on the hood, Makita, Menz 203s on LC white pad. Very little effect!
I moved to Menz PG on LC wool polishing pad. Results were nicer and less holograms than foam. Then, I found the swirls and scratches were hiding other defects such as long RDS, pits, and orange peel. I stepped down to Menz 203s on LC white with Flex DA. Results were superb, clear definition, no holograms and swirls, the deep RDS remained but were almost unnoticeable. Only the hood I refined with Flex, PO85rd on LC black. This was the most battered part.
Deep RDS remain, but they’re not easy to capture. Only noticeable from an angle, & with a detailer’s eye!
Pits and pores discovered while polishing. Wet-sanded 2000 grit, then continued.

Your comment and thoughts are most welcome and many thanks to all those who kindly helped me their advice.
God bless you all.

Nice work. That was some really crappy paint to start with.
Great finishing shots! I was trying to place your location until you pointed out the tea. Is there demand there for more than an ordinary wash? Hard work for such a low profile car, well done.
Very nice write-up and pics, thanks.
Great work and results. Well done

demand is very limited, people polish and wax swirls and scratches here
they just don't know, Most fail to appreciate a perfect finish.
it's only from referrals that you get to work on some cars.
