I have noticed an increasing amount of guests reading threads on the forum every day, because of this I have now restricted guest access to only viewing thread titles and not actually being allowed to read the individual threads.
My reasoning for this is that the more we can grow our membership, the more inclined suppliers will be to come on board and offer us group buys etc.
If anyone has a problem with this or has alternate suggestions, please feel free to pm me, or reply here.

No problems, however sometimes I read forum posts from my cellphone without bothering to log in. Guess it will force me to log in future, can't afford to miss out on announcements about the next Chemical Guys arrival.
lol, I also log in from my fone, just tick "remember me" the first time you log on

I'm 6'6" and weigh 115kg, so I dont think I fall into giant categorizing
I understand your logic but I do think you might "scare" some people away. Not everyone wants to register for multiple websites. Some just want to check out what it's all about. I check out a lot of overseas websites like Autopia and I am not registered on all of them.
Anyway, try it out and see how it goes.
I think we give it a week in pilot mode, and see how it goes.
