For us (Mobile-Image) it will cut down on us moving the cars in and out of the sun to check our correction progress. Whilst builders lights help show up swirling and scratches I think the Brinkmann is better suited to showing not only the swirls/scratches but also any holograms left by the buffing process Wink

Also you don't look like a complete looney in the complex with builders lights and stuffs surrounding a car Rofl
Ok. I just thought of a idea. I going to see if one and get one of these 1million cp spotlights( their around R120) and then find a xenon replacement bulb. I know my spotlight uses a H3 6v 100w halogen bulb so there is a good chance to get a xenon.
You might get close, but its not going to be a true xenon, merely a halogen filled with xenon gas, and the outer painted blue.

The true xenon needs a ballast etc

:rofl:wen i read ur posts i think of myself...id do sumthing like that.2b honest i was thinking on doing sumthing like thatRofl
From what I have read is you don't need an enormous light or millions of candlepower to highlight swirls and hazing. You need a light that is simialr in temperature to daylight (5700K I think) that is bright enough to highlight flaws but not so bright that it bleaches them out and you can't see them.

I have seen LED torches used to good effect before, I have some pics I will host and share with you shortly of them in action Wink
Found this online shop: http://www.extremeshop.co.za/ under the illumination tab there is a lot of types of flash/spotlights.
Okidoki....Sean has suggested we look at firing up this GB again considering the current low exchange rate (R8/$1). I will send off some e-mails again and confirm some shipping charges and current prices. In the meantime those interested please add your name to the list, I think 10 would be required to make this viable Wink
David - not sure if you wanted to use the previous list or start a new one. Either way, I'm in.
I'm kind-a keen. Obviously depending on price, but I should first get myself into action and start detailing properly. Still faffing around and not committing to my hobbie. :-(
Ill let you know after I get the bill for the last service. Oh and btw the Black wow is in the post.
Seeing as the list is quite old I suggest we start a new one rather. Pricing should still be around the R400 mark if the exchange rate holds Wink

My only concern with Maxfire, is the various posts on intl forums regarding the hit and miss quality of the battery. A few guys have reported getting Maxfires that work and then don't charge, or don't charge out of the box.

I will do some more digging and see what we come up with, still need to confirm pricing as well Wink
