Well as stated in the e90 325i thread, this is the other car we worked on on Saturday, we collected it really early and went back to my place to start work on it.
You can see in the pic that the sun was just sticking its head up over the horizon while we where washing,
We then dried with the new drying towels I have just got into stock, currently there are 6 left, but I will be bring 100 in within the next month. They are not as plush as the Adams Waffle Weave towels, but work very well, and again we where able to dry the entire car without having to wring it out once.
These are the swirls we are going to be attacking come friday afternoon, when we will complete this detail.
This car was a nightmare to clay, there where bonded contaminents ALL over, here are just a few pics to illustrate what we where up against
Due to buget cuts, we had to use small clay just kidding, to clay the sills, we used a small piece of clay which was thrown away afterward.
After washing and drying, it was time to go and start car number 2 for the day, so this car was garaged and left for later.
When we returned, we started claying the rest of the car, this was at 6pm, it took us just over 3hrs to clay the rest of the car afterwhich we put a coat of Chemical Guys Butter wet wax on, which will be stripped off on friday when we do the correction work.
TO BE CONTINUED.... more pics from the correction on friday to come
