Soooooo me and Kev decided to detail a Focus ST today
The owner has been on our case as long as I can remember . So our stuff finally arrived from Poor-Boys( Thanks Don ) so we put it to good use

Here are a few before pics ( After we washed it )
The car wasnt dirty at all

As you an see form this shot there is no protection on the paintwork what so ever
We used Chemical Guys Citrus wash and Gloss to remove what ever was on the paint work

these contaminants were found on the bonnet and roof .

Don this is just for you Bluebiggrin

As most of you know trying to take pictures of swirl marks on white cars is near impossible
If this was a black car it would have been a massacre

We taped up the car using the infamous blue tape. . Nothing sticks like blue tape Bluebiggrin

Total time 9Hrs
Lovely work there guys! And I'm very glad to see you remembered inside the filler cap Wink
Good work. I have also try to take a photo of swirls on white. Not easy.
Nice work guys, great to finally see those Flex's in action doing what they were born to do Bluebiggrin
Lovely finish on white guys.

Looks like Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss can be lethal if not used at the recommeded dilution ratios for maintenance washes.
Well done guys, the ST came out nicely. Bluebiggrin

Yea, certainly seems like it! Make a mistake and you might be a little peeved that you've lost all your protection.
Thanks for all the Kind words guys Bluebiggrin

The citrus stuff is really ruthless . The client had his car at Amazing Glaze and the CWG took what ever they put on right off
Id be carefull though . As most said one slip of the hand and all the protection will be lost

We doing another white ST on Saturday
I feel this one is going to be alot harder Bluebiggrin
The tougher the job the greater the satisfaction when it is done. Whilst it is always nice to detail a nicely maintained car that looks tip top when you done, restoring some of the really old and neglected stuff can be equally rewarding as well Wink
