So after much consideration and deliberation I took the plunge and decided to get myself a new camera to replace my aging Sony DSC-P32. I have always had a bit of an interest in photography but haven't really given much thought to spending alot of money on something other than a basic PS. After using my Sven's Canon on his blue S3 detail this past weekend I decided it's time to bite the bullet and get something that will improve my pictures of the work we do as well as allow me to finally learn a little more about photography.
I wound up looking at the much vaunted DSLR's as well as some of the better PS type super-zooms and decided that considering I don't really want to have to buy all kinds of lenses for various things I would go the compact super-zoom route.
At the end of the day I got a really good deal on the newly released Canon SX10-IS
Now all I need to do is read the manual because this thing has so many features and buttons I don't even know where to start
