Feel free to check out the detail school category Bluebiggrin
I just popped in to Zeemax, and the mechie that worked on my car took it for a drive and was almost speechless, he says that I am damn lucky that the engine is still fine and is very impressed that its going so well.

My suspicions have been confirmed that the noise is a lifter, he reckons after the next engine flush it should come right.

Next flush goes in today, and the oil gets changed again on Thursday.
Good luck with your sticky fingers Bluebiggrin
What you guys think of a wheel like this for the 540?

I'm looking at going with 18s
Hello Don

If the problem with the lifters ensues give me a shout.

We supply both an engine flush and Lifter additive which stops lifter noise.

Last weekend she seem to be running not to bad, so I think it's time for a detail.....

When it comes to wheels I cant say if it is going to work unless it is on he car. So I google for pic with maybe a similar wheels on. Found something else that don't look bad:

no worries, I simply split the thread. Bluebiggrin

Engine flush discussion moved to general off topic forum.
Hey Mr Alpina you didn't answer my question. Are you after the Alpina look Bluebiggrin
I think that car is too big for the old school Alpina's. I prefer the newer Alpina Dynamics for a bigger car
