lol!!

There was a guy on the golf GTi forums a while ago selling stickers that claimed to add 10bhp per sticker. All you had to do was stick them on the engine.

He even had people register and tell people (like the Verimark ads) just how good the product really was and try get people to buy it.

Needless to say that he wont be coming back too soon!

Mike
like an LSD patch Rofl
lol!!
well speaking of additives and funny things, I just bought some fuel additive tablets, they are supposed to increase octane and clean deposits from you engine, at R50/4 tablets, I thought what the hell, if they work then why not and if they dont, then its only R50 down the drain.

check them out at http://www.uniglide.co.za
I must send you some of the Liqui Moly Fuel additives...

Been testing them in the Porsche.... oh my word they are potent....

Octane Booster.
Speed Tec.

Such an awesome range...

Mike
Oh yes...

I hope the sig is ok? lemme know if i must remove it... just some digital work I did a while ago that I like...

Mike
sigs is fine dude, just no advertising in sigs if not a sponsor Bluebiggrin
You can try the DF range of octane boosters as well Don. I used them to good effect (but the detriment of my plugs) in the GTI. Gave a healthy reduction in timing pull on successive runs but didn't add much in the way of power gains (2 or 3hp).

Be carefull of any octane boosters that contain xylene and/or toulene, they not exactly plug friendly and can also eat rubber fuel lines if used in too high concentrations Bluebiggrin
This one is just a fuel catalyst, basically just excites the hydrocarbons.... I think Bluebiggrin

Should ask TOGWT about this, he should be much better equipped to answer how a fuel catalyst works
Toulene yay, major component of TNT.

Hehe. When I had my jetta I used that stuff when the 97 fuel was take away ($^%*(^$*& goverment). It did make a difference for me.
Don't know about cleaning engines etc. but read an interesting article the other day slamming fuel saving devices (magnets on the fuel line, tablets, etc) and the consenus was that the only reason why any of them seem to work, is that the people fitting them drive more carefully after they have fitted them and therefore get a better fuel consumption.

It's all in da mind, i tell ya! Bluebiggrin
lol!

It all depends really... When your product range is approved by all the major car manufacturers and tested on all their vehicles then obviously the products must work Wink
