Hello guys

Continuing with the "Jo'burg Detailers Meet" thread here is the Cape Town thread.

Some questions for us to consider:

- Where?

Car Dealerships? A large Field with some advertising? Perhaps at Teasers?
Lets hear what you think. I think a Saturday morning doing a car or two at Bloomsbury or BMW or Aston Martini could be cool and the afternoon chilling somewhere nice nd talking rubbish maybe?

- When?

We are all busy bodies... When would you guys like to meet up? For now lets suggest dates and maybe we can try tie it up with a track day or Club meet for a car club?

- Who is coming?

Self explanatory me thinks....

- How big?

Will it be a lil meet... Or something big where we can set up stands? Invite posh people to ogle at? Lets hear suggestions.

Im happy to arrange this as its what I do all day long as well as sales lol and drinking choc milk (You gotta love the cafe next door) so Im up for it.

Any other suggestions or thoughts?

Sorry dude, just havent had the time to sit down and think this through yet will give it some thought and we can put something together, it just needs to be done properly we need sponsors etc

Like I said. When we can get some decent ideas going and an idea of more or less what we want then I can start working on something.

I think that the problem here is that you are trying to mix work and play.

Some of you are professional detailers and the rest of us are just 'normal" okes.

I'm always in for a meet with the guys for a cofee and/or a beer - ask everyone on the forums. Hell i've even flown up to Jo'burg

I think you need to focus carefully on what you are trying to achieve. A sort of a Trade Day? Stands at car clubs or exotic car dealerships. I think that is a sort of business thing.

Or...a meet/braai/drinks..whatever with forum members to meet with each other, check out our respective rides and swop ideas etc.

Anyway, just my two cents worth. Look forward to hearing other opinions.

I like the idea of a braai. I also like the idea of doing a show. In my opinion its doesnt matter if you are proffessional or a normal oke... We all share a passion for clean cars...
