Holy cr*p those swirls and scratches are (were) bad. Did they rub it with a pot scourer or what.
Lovely reflection shots. What products did you use? Intensive and Finish and with what pads?
I assume you didn't use a Shield Polisher
That was simply Intensive and a polishing pad!!! followed by a sealer and wax.
The IP was AMAZING!
And your new lights look the part
Awesome turn around. That paint was really trashed. Nice halogen setup, where you get it, cost, ect.
got it from Campwell hardware for R329, but I believe you can get them from Makro as well.
Its a builders light
Awesome Awesome Work Don
Well done mate !!!
I dunno what these people think when buying these expensive cars and take them to the local car wash ...
Makes me wanna puke
Lets just look at the positives, the less people know about propper washing techniques more money we can make
Once again fantastic turn around!!
Thanks guys! This was 1 helluva lot of work though, took Steve (from autoglym), Megesh and I from 8:30am until 3:30pm to complete!
porsche cayenne = big car
big car = sore back!!!!
Menzerna def came to the party here, if it wasnt fopr the IP we would prob still be there!!! its leaves such an awesome finish it was unbelievable...
but oh that bonnet that freaking bonnet!!! i hate that bonnet!!! i really hate that bonnet!!!
Excellent work and great turnaround. The tag team of Don and Megesh should be taking the Cape by storm (excuse the pun). Looks like Menzerna may be the product range of choice for correction work.
What polishers and pads did you use Don?
Megesh was using the dewalt 443 and I was using the makita bo6040, we tested a few combinations and settled on the lake country polishing pad and the IP, which cut beautifully and finished perfectly!
Very nice work.....The GTS hasn't been on the market all that long and yet look at the sorry state it was in !
Builders warehouse also stocks a nice dual lamp set on a stand for around R300 or so if I recall correctly

yip, that specific one is 2 months old!
It was "buffed" by 1 of the more prominent paintshops in CT
I think it is disgusting that motor vehicles of this caliber can be mistreated so badly by dealers and paintshops.
