Hey guys, look what I found in an old photo album.

1750 GTV but I blew the motor and had a 2000 engine fitted

I scanned it and uploaded it for your enjoyment.

This was my pride and joy and gave me many miles of exciting motoring. I called it my vacumn cleaner....cos it picked up fluff.

It had two twin side draft weber carbs...no fuel injection in those days, and a hand throttle, like an early version of cruise control.

I used to apply Turtle Wax and polish it with an old T-shirt. All the bright-work was genuine chrome, no "plastic chrome".
Awesome looking GTV

How badly do you want it back?
Awesome Springbok

One one my best mates is busy restoring his GTV
Its just like yours :-)
That GTV looks really nice, I think I have seen rally cars with less lights though Bluebiggrin

I love Alfa's Bluebiggrin

How is your Alfa going Springbok? I have been hearing good things about the newer Alfa's.

Mike
Nice wheels dude...what year are we talking here btw?
Yeah, thanks for the comments guys:

1. I would love to have one as a weekend run around. Fully restored and mint.
2. I was young and handsome.Rofl
3. Actually there was a 1300 Junior, a 1600, a 1750 and a 2000.. Also a very rare GTA version.
4. I don't have any of the original papers for the car and that is the only pic I have but as I recall it was circa 1972.
5. My Alfa's going great thanks....I would like to refurb the mags as they are a bit curbed and it spoils the effect.
Nice.
