Reading US detailing forums one has become familiar with Cash for clunkers and Cash for wax specials trying to induce customers to buy product by qualifying for special discounts if they trade in old tubs of wax.

Lets kick off a Recession busting trade thread, do you have any products that you are willing to part with? Why don't you trade them here? You never know, that nearly new bottle of Turtle Wax in your kit could be the missing link in another enthusiast's kit. You might just walk away with JetSeal 109 for your troubles Icon9

I will start the ball rolling
  • Meguiar's Soft Wash shampoo (50% full)
  • SmartWax RimWax (80% full)
  • Meguiar's Gold Class liquid coat wax (100% full)
  • Chemical Guys Extreme Top Coat 3x Carnauba (200 ml sample)
Good idea Siya...

I am certain I have a few bits and pieces lying around, well the odd bits that Wells left behind anyways Rofl

I also need to sort through all of Grants tubs as well (with limited space we each kept odds and ends) and see whats going unused that could be given away or possibly traded.
anyone got some decent buckets that they not using?
Great thread, I'm going to check our stores.
Had a quick scan this weekend whilst cleaning up around the house and I have a few goodies that can go to loving homes. I will try to compile a complete list during the course of the week and will advise accordingly Bluebiggrin

Dood if you ring Premier Packaging you can get 20lt and 25lt buckets for around R30 or R40 IIRC. Whilst they are not quite as strong in sheer strength as some of the more robust plastic buckets, mine have lasted me close on 18 months and counting having been used almost weekly Wink

These are also the same buckets you usually find paint in if I am not mistaken Clap

IIRC yes Wink

When I bought these buckets there weren't grit guards available locally so I made my own to fit Bluebiggrin
