I purchased my Megs G220 polisher last week and received my goodies from Poorboys on Monday so thought I'd spend the public holiday detailing my car. This was my first attempt with a polisher.
My car is in pretty good condition, being a 2008 model & waxed regularly.

Process followed:
-Cleaned wheels with Megs wheel brightener
-Due to my rims being BBS style it requires alot of work when cleaning,
I use a precision paint brush which I purchased from Midas to clean the studs,a toothbrush to clean the lip & a wheel spoke brush.
-Washed car with Megs Hyper Wash
-Clayed
-Taped all rubber trimming before application of compund, polish, wax
-Applied Megs Ultimate Compound to bonnet, hood & fenders
-Applied C.G Pro Polish
-Applied C.G Butter Wax
-Megs Ultimate Quik detailer
-Applied Megs Plast X to headlights
-Dressed tyres with Endurance Tyre Gel
-Dressed plastic trimming with Natural Shine protectant
-Polished rims with Smartwax Rim wax

All machine applications were applied with the Megs Yellow polishing pad
I was really impressed with the results.
The polisher makes applications much easier & more effective!!
Meg's pads are blerrie expensive tho

Nicely done Mo Thumb
Looking good Mo, thumbs up for getting on the dual action polisher "ladder"

So is the G220 anything to fear? What pads did you end up buying and using?

Oh, how is Don?
Nice!
Nice work Mo! Thumbsup2
Thanks guys!
The G200 was an absolute pleasure..
I bought 2 yellow polishing pads as advised by Mike from Meguiars.
But I think I'll get a L.C finishing pad soon.
Don is well - think he's very busy...
Nice job there Mr Mo ....
