California Love by Smartwax - Naush - 01-07-2010 04:22 PM

Hi Guys,

What an awsome day.. A Ferrari california needed some tlc so myself and Moe went out to detail this awsome machine.

The car`s paint was in pretty good shape.

It had a little bit of contamination and didnt need any heavy compounding of that sort.

We started by hosing down the car followed by a light clay with Smartclay and CG LUBER.

We then applied a mix of Cg Premium blue wheel and rim cleaner to clean the wheels and calipers

After that we then started to shampoo the body with CG extreme bodywash

We then started out with CG Rocket polish and a green hex logic pad to clear out some minor imperfections

After that to add some depth and gloss we applied the all time favourite Exterme ez creme with a red hex pad.

Followed by E-ZYME NATURA paste wax.

The car had a lot of hard to reach places in terms of applying trim dressing so we went the FADE to BLACK route..

Rimwax and Blue B Gone was applied to the wheels and tail pipes.

We finised the tyres of with SMARTGEL..

And that was pretty much that..

Nice job, except for the bottle on the absurdly expensive car!! Is it wise to wash with a wash n wax if you intend correcting after, I thought the wax may interfere with the polish??

It can which is why I choose to wash with a combo of CWC (Citrus Wash Clear) and APC Thumb
