Ooohh. Hey, Starvekos, tell us more about those products.

Hmmm, well Don, as you may have heard, I too shall be at the Megs detail day. I am sure on Monday we will rub it in by posting pics.

Oh, should help Carn test the Flex, if I can pry it out his hands.

I've tried to keep my head down over the last few months and thwart any temptation to expand my detailing kit. However, the bug reared its ugly head in July so I took the plunge and started looking for more products.

I placed an order for a gallon of the Adams Polishes Detailing Spray through Pravin. I killed the sample spray after 3 applications, the stuff is addictive.

Last month, I sent Rich (Polished Bliss) an email enquiring about detailing products to keep the Golf in tidy state. He recommended the Werkstat Carnauba kit for red paint and pointed me towards a link on the Detailing World forum.

Polished Bliss: 997 exterior detail

Unfortunately, Polished Bliss does not deliver to South Africa but Rich recommended that I contact Werkstat in the US. Werkstat promptly loaded South Africa as an international destination and I then placed an order for a Carnauba Kit

The order was placed on 30 July 2008, sent via United States Postal service and arrived in the country on 3 August 2008. Called our reliable Post Office Customer Care line and they confirmed that it had been delivered at my local Post Office.

I hope to use the kit before heading out to the Megs detailing day tomorrow.

Costs:
Products: $49.95
Postage: $35
SA customs: R154

Will try to post pics during the weekend.
