I'm a car nut, specifically VAG brand, and my name's Matteo.

After crusing the forum for a while (started off at the DetailingWorld forum, then thought I should get "involved' with the local guys - Meguiar's forum - and have now decided to join) - this all being detailing wise. I've been with the VW Club SA Forum since September 2006.

I've been browsing the forum for quite some time - don't know why I didn't register sooner! Always seem to get pulled away from my laptop when I think about doing it...anyway, enough of that.

The first time I picked up a Meguiar's product was back in Jan 2006, soon after purchasing my first car - '99 Citi DeCo. I was using the GC wash, ScratchX & DC system back then.

I then sold it in Feb 2007 and purchased a '92 Mk2 GTi 2.0 16V Exec. Continued using GC wash, ScratchX, DC system and then caught onto Clay Bar'in. Bluebiggrin

Sorry for the poor quality photo's and angles. Those were taken on my mobile. Can't seem to find the decent ones I hosted. She is now for sale - ;(.

Friday 4th July 2008, I took delivery of my '05 Polo Sportline 1.9 TDi. Big Grin

Haven't had any time to do a massive detail or even take hi-res photo's yet. Please excuse the photo's once again, taken on the SO's mobile, after my mobile and cam were stolen - at work! She was also filthy - the car that is Wink

There's a couple nicks I recognise from the VW Club SA forum I live on. Tongue

I'll be asking plenty of questions, hopefully I've done enough basic research and used the search function well enough. Bluebiggrin

After Aldo showed me the link a month or so ago, I've been checking things out here - reason I think I enjoyed it here is because there's a mix of talk about products etc, as I'm sure you know, compared to the Meg forum. Bluebiggrin
