Well transnet like selling stuff for cheap cheap. My house used to belong to Transnet which they then used to accomodate the railway workers. They then gave all the cottages to the railway worker who have now sold most of them off.
Dubai world has also invested $600 in Shamwari here.

It's not so much the waterfront thats the problem it's all the other land along the coast. Rumour has it there's also parts of the sea??

Apparently they sold coastal land including ocean all the way to robben island!!!

now goverment has to find a way to get it back cause you are not allowed to sell parts of the ocean!!!!

And what is interesting is that despite repeated requests, Transnet is still refusing to make public the conditions of sale thus fanning the flames of suspicion.
