Lambchop Polishes Le mans - Lambchop - 28-12-2009 10:12 PM Hi Guys So detailing cars ( Apart from my own car ) wasnt on my list of priorities this year so Iv decided to end it on a high One of my good mates asked if i could polish his 2007 335i BMW So I couldnt say no ... It was in a bit of a state. Scratches RIDS swirls Stone chip . You name it , It had it But No job to hard for OCD individual List of goodies used *Foam Lance with high dosage of CWG *CWG *Menzerna SIP *LC orange and Yellow pad *wool Pad *Various Brushed *Smart Clay *Adams Detailing spray *RaceGlaze 55 *Rimwax *Megs Endurance gel *various MF cloths A few befores .. The car wasnt bad from a few meters away The Foam lance in action My trusty mule This was after it was washed with CWG No pics of the claying process ..But the panels were very clean Now for the money shots All taped up and ready to go Now for the results - I had to try alot of combinations on this paint . Something I wasnt realy used to .. But It was good practice Thanks for looking RE: Lambchop Polishes Le mans - Carn - 29-12-2009 09:22 AM Stunning job Nick, car looks better than new What did you end up settling on for the correction process and did she give you hell? Great to see you giving the Flex a workout again after the long 'dry season' RE: Lambchop Polishes Le mans - Lambchop - 29-12-2009 09:35 AM Thanks Dave Dude i tried more combos than Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon" I tried Scholl S17 on a Orange ,Yellow and Wool Pad ----- No good 3M FCP on Orange yellow and Wool ---- No good Megs M106 on Orange Yellow and Wool -----No good Then by sheer chance i tried the Menz SIP on a wool pad Hectic combo but def did the job ... I did the correction in half the time I would have liked to have refined the polishing a bit more but was really strapped for time but im well impressed with the results I think its time for a rotary now though RE: Lambchop Polishes Le mans - springbok - 29-12-2009 10:05 AM (29-12-2009 09:35 AM)Lambchop Wrote: Dude i tried more combos than Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon" RE: Lambchop Polishes Le mans - Kido - 29-12-2009 10:25 AM Good stuff Nick!
