Ferrari 458 Italia - RED
Hi all! Sorry I've been on a holiday for the last year or so!

Start re-posting with a nice car, I think it's about R3.6million... I think!

Pictures up later!

He must be busy working on the Veyron and Lear Jet at the moment Sean. I'm sure we will see some teasers shortly Bluebiggrin

RE: Ferrari 458 Italia - RED
Phew... Dave that jet made me tired, the Veyron was hard work!!!!!!!!!!!! especially those orange stripes!!!!!!!!!

The vehicle arrived with loads of swirls marks, and splattered white compound residue in all the body joins. This was surprising, as the vehicle has only 257km on the clock.
I chose not too go to heavy with the pain rectification, rather choosing to do test spots, to get the best results with the least cutting. I figured that the car is new, and in its life I’m sure it will have further work done to the paint, so why put it on diet when it’s so young .
The car is actually quit small, the shapes are a pleasure to work on, and paint is great!
The final winning steps was as follows-
- Vehicle was 90% clean on arrival. I just needed to give it a fun/full wipe down with Carways mist and wipe.
- Inspected paint surface, then used the Meguiars DA, with a Maron cutting pad, along with Meguiars #85 – Diamond Cut.
- Gave the vehicle a full wipe down.
- Did a few extra spot treatments with DA and #85.
- Then used Yellow medium cut pad on DA with Meguiars Dual Action Cleaner Polish.
- Then used Meguiars M66 with a Yellow Medium cut pad on the DA.
- Then used #66 with a Black Polishing pad on the DA.
- Gave the lights a polish.
- Cleaned glass with Megs NXT.
- Tyres NXT grape juice.

Then after all that it was off for a long, awesome drive!!!
