Some lazy/rushed detailing
I was off work today cause I have exams from Monday to Wednesday next week.

I also had all this stuff sitting around, unused:

^^ Reason for all the Megs stuff is that I paid a little more than R500 for most of it from take2, still going order some more stuff from CD.

I washed it with some Megs Gold Class after using the Megs Rim stuff to do the mags(Starting to think the Gloss black mags were a bad idea).
Used the Megs Clay bar and some quick detailer on the roof, bonnet and a few other panels. Then came the part that really hurt my arm, Megs Scratch X on the really bad swirls I had on my bonnet, roof and the bit between the doors and the roof. Wiped it down before applying some Megs Gold Class Wax. Also used some cheap stuff on the black plastics, Megs Endurance tyre stuff. The mags were also given a quick coat of Megs Cleaner wax, seems to make cleaning them easier.

No photos of the work as the GF had the camera in her car and my black berry camera does not take the greatest of photos.

After a few hours the little red ST was pretty damn shiny.

I was a little pressed for time, only got started around 12ish, so it is no where near perfect or even where I want it to be, was very rushed job. Paint correction by hand is damn hard work, happy with the results give the time frame.

The blackberry photos do not do it justice. Sad

I kinda hooked on this whole detailing thing and I have no idea why. Definitely need to get myself a DA polisher and allot more micro fibers.

Will spend more time on it next time, definitely gonna tape up some stuff then.

Nice deep red colour... What sort of results did ScratchX give you by hand?

For a rush job, well done!

Scratch X by hand definitely made a difference, I am sure I could have achieved much better results if I concentrated on a smaller section at a time and worked it a bit more though. I was able to remove some light scuffing caused by clipped the gate on my parents driveway. Damn hard work though Tongue
