Avatar: What does it mean-
Was staying in the same hotel as Hammond and Jeremy for RPM. Met Hammond at Breakfast but Jeremy was too hungover to get out of bed.

What do you like most about detailing?
I love car, so making them look their best makes me happy.

What are your favourite products/processes and why?
Claying, because more then anything it confuses the kak out of people and has such major results.

What’s your dream car(s) and why?
Changes every day, but probably right now, the MP4-12C. Because it just looks amazing, and its great to see Mclaren getting back into road cars.

What’s your favourite previously owned automobile?
BMW E30 318i

Tell me about your first detail?
Well there were lots of washes and clean ups before I did something that remotely resembled a detail. But first time with machines I was using a Shield Orbital, with some nasty liquid waxes and abrasives that had the consistency of mud. I think I waxed it first and polished after, was pretty clueless. After that came Megs 3 step system and things started growing from there.

What’s the best thing you’ve learned?
Just got to get the most of the Flex to really ramp up gloss.

What are some of your other hobbies and interests?
Flying aeroplanes

Do you have any pets?
1 Cat, Minx

Name three techniques that you think you should share to fellow Detailers.
Take photos of a reflection from inside a dark garage and the gloss will look great even if you swirled to shit. Always clean with IPA, if you dont feel like cheating. And never rush.

Where are you from and where do you live now?
PE, PE

What was your first car and what got you interested in keeping cars perfect?
1970's MK1 Golf. I never washed it once in 2 years. And even if I did, too much water would have come in all the holes.

Current automobiles-
1992 BMW E36 M3

What motivates you to detail?
Pretty cars motivate me, and seeing the before and after transformation.

Would you ever pay someone else to detail your car?
Yes, if they could do a better job then me I would see value in that. But most things I prefer to teach myself so I can do it.

Does detailing run in the family at all, or are you the only normal one?
Im the only one thats intested in it. Everyone thinks I'm batty.

What is your favourite part about detailing?
Polishing metal. Like the ease for instant satisfaction.

If detailing is a hobby for you, would you like to do it full time, or do you feel that it would take the fun out of it?
No, I think I would get bored if i did it full time, and it would break my back.

What is your favourite car to detail and why?
The smallest black one I can find.

Do you prefer to detail a Supercar or everyday car?
Supercar

What detailing tool do you think every detailer should have in their arsenal? (Excluding the obvious stuff like wash mitts etc.)
303, earbuds, proper lights.

What are your current favourite brands and why?
Menz, Chemical guys. They good value for money.

What do you do when you’re not detailing?
Work work work work work

A few quick fire questions:

•Ferrari or Lamborghini?
Lamborghini

•Wax or Sealant?
Sealant

•Rotary or Orbital Polisher?
Flex 3401, but would like to learn rotary.

•Hamburger & Chips or Healthy food?
Hambuger, no chips, they too healthy for me.

•Coffee or Coke?
Coffee
