Eucalyptus oil is a natural oil and can be used to clean sticky residue from various surfaces. As it is an oil you will need to clean it off (the residue) otherwise your next product may not adhere properly
What he said.
Eucalyptus oil works really well when removing tar or sticky residue from painted surfaces, but it does leave some oiliness behind which needs to be cleaned properly as it does tend to inhibit the effectiveness of any follow up product (polish, wax or sealant).

Interesting! Any idea where I can purchase this product? I'd like to try it out. I reside in Cape Town

Your local pharmacy should have small vile's of it
A pharmacy??

Oh damn you just giving my girlfriend more reason to laugh at me coz she's always amused by the products I purchase for my car

Yep - a pharmacy. Should be +-R50 for a 100ml bottle.
Just remember to use it in a well ventilated area - the eucalyptus smell is quite strong.

What are you needing to do?
I have these black rubber marks on the bottom of my passenger door (from raceday) and they just dont seem to want to disappear.

I also want to clay my car but honestly.. I'm a bit scared coz I haven't done it before

Easy does it!
That seems fairly simple and quick! So this newbie is gonna give it a go and then post results (before and after)
