RE: Just a teaser for now...
So I guess all the right bits finally came together on the Lambo.

I would have loved to have popped in for a visit this weekend, but the missus had arranged a variety of social events for the long weekend.

I'll try have the pics and stuffs up this evening, although the billowing clouds and cracks of thunder may put paid to that excercise!

Don't get too excited though, this is only the 1st installment with the front end preparation for the VPS film Bluebiggrin

Wish potential customers could see what this film looks like after a couple washes and general wear & tear. I personally wouldn't apply it and rather live with the chips. Each to their own Iono

Hi Starvekos,
I wish you could see what these cars look like after 5000km. Due to their low design, they get hit by every stone on the road. On a regular car you won't get nearly as much damage. I speak from experience. Although the film does not look pleasing after a while, it still much better than a front that is faded into white/gray primer.

Another large factor is the skill of the person that is applying the film. You get some people that terminate the film just before or on the edge of the body. This will often lead to sand and other debris getting under the film due to pressure washers used within close proximity. If you tuck the film around the edge or under the badge, headlight etc. you won't see it as badly.

I have to agree, I have seen some cars that you struggle to see where the VPS is, and others that look eally tatty.

I personally agree with Siya. I have yet to come across a car with the VPS that doesn't look 'off'. At the end of the day though it is personal preference and I guess as anon mentioned, on these types of cars they can pick up road rash quite easily Uhoh2

RE: Just a teaser for now...
Road rash is common on these cars... Even the Pearl Aston Martini at the Waterfront (Demo) is screwed.

I would rather have the film then the chips... I know our Porsche bumper has been resprayed a couple of times...

RE: Just a teaser for now...
Well if you have the car you clearly have the $$$$. I'd have some spare bumpers, wings and bonnets painted to match and swap them out on a regular basis Bluebiggrin
