Following a week of festivities surrounding the Concours d’Elegance in Monterey California, the host of “Car Crazy” and president and CEO of Meguiar’s,Barry Meguiar, was checked into the Monterey Community Hospital for what is now known to be a viral infection.

Update: According to an announcement by Mike Pennington, director of training for Meguiar’s, Barry picked up a viral infection while traveling overseas for an episode of “Car Crazy.” Barry is now in stable condition and improving, with his expected return to the Irvine headquarters to be in just a few days.
