Steam Vapour Car Wash? Your Thoughts?
Howzit guys

So was paging through this months Speed n Sound magazine and came across an advert for Steam Vapour technology used to wash cars.

Saw a vid on Youtube a while ago of something similar, and it looked quite good actually. No chemicals or anything were used and it cut through dirt and grime quite nicely, same goes for the rims and tyres as well.

As the topic suggests, what's your thoughts on this method?

Can it damage the paintwork? Has an effect on waxes, sealants that were applied?

Apologies if its a dumb question

Thinking

Thanks in advance!

Used for the interior. it does a pretty nice job, less chemicals, sanitizes everything, works a treat on door jambs and hard to reach areas.... dashboard, leather, glass.... but not tried it on the exterior and the engine. so can't comment. There are short videos on the use of a steamer by Kevin Farell, owner of Kleen Car Auto Appearance, USA. just check on the net, i'm sure it will help.

Yeah I've seen what it can do with interiors and was pretty impressed!
