Wink 50/50,Petespearl&smartwax concourse
Hi Everyone,

I had abit of a busy Saterday this past weekend,Myself and RnD auto put 3 paste waxes to compare what exactly is the difference between them. Our venue was the heavily Branded megs Carwash in Boksburg owned by RnD auto.Hopefully he will see the light with these paste waxes and change those signs ASAP.

1st up was the Smartwax Concours.A customer had pulled up in a white mazda 323 (hehe) and he had offered us his machine glady to test this limted edition paste wax.

We also wanted to see exactly what these paste waxes can really do with out using any other type of wax, polish or sealant.

The car was pulled up To the wash bay and shampoo`d with megs hyperwash.

And then the car`s beadings and tires were top off with CGHigh Shine Dressing

After that it was time to start the paste wax proccess.

The SW CONCOURS was massaged onto the body of the car by hand.

The car was left for about 25min which isn`t very long at all.

And then the paste wax was removed,as soon as we started to take it off i could not believe my eyes at the results, the paint work had depth ,it felt extremely smooth, the owner told us he had never ever seen his car look like this before.

Also the weather was pretty rough it was cloudy and dusty.but even without a pic in the sun, the car looked amazing.

Next up was the Pete`s Pearl 53 paste wax,

We asked another customer if they would like a paste wax done on their car and applied the same proccess just a wash and CG tire dressing.

This cars paint work was pretty rough it had alot of stone chips and because it was a black car they were very visible.

We started applying the petes by hand aswell

after that we let the paste wax settle again for only 25mins

And then we started removing the petes and my oh my!

petes is a very impressive product for the price its well worth it,
It came off so effortless, twice as easy as the SM Conc.

Last was The 50/50 limited but we did another test on this one,We applied it the weekend before and never washed the car at all and it was driven every day.The dusty weather was a good test.

The 50/50 was alittle hard to take off but not the worst, and also had amazing results.

All we did was shampoo the car and used the CG High Shine dressing once again and that was it. And these were the results of 50/50 on for a week on a car that has been driven everyday since 50/50 limited was applied. No wax, polish or sealant had been applied.

overall honestly i can say that all three paste waxes do an amazing job,SM Conc works beautifully its just hard to take out but has been tested as one of the best ever paste waxes to date. ,Petes is easy to put on and take off but will probably look better on a dark coloured car.Sm Conc would work very well on all colours.
50/50 id say would have an edge because it works well on all colours and comes off easier then the SM Conc. Also the 50/50 is very limited and will be in stock in 2 months time.

The next paste wax that we will put to the test is the XXX HARD CORE PASTE WAX by CG.

Can`t wait to try it!

I hope you guys enjoyed my review. Bluebiggrin

Oh Man! I can only imagine what the results would have been like if the paint had been prepared properly, with a good clay and polish!

That Blue Kadett really looks good though!

Thank, not everyday we get to see those exclusive products in use. Have to echo the other users comment, with more prep you would have gotten so much more out of those premium products.
