Poor-Boys doing the Dakar..... Now for Sale!!!!!!
Yellow M3 Icon9

Guys this car is now for sale, 97 model, 78k kms on the clock, owner wants R150k for it. If I was in the position right now, you would see my post "My new M3" but unfortunately it just cant be so right now Sad PM me for details if you are interested

Unfortunately my camera batt was very low on Sun, so I only took after pics of the car Sad

For those of you that are wondering, this is a 97 model, with 78k on the clock.

And please bear in mind that this is single stage paint and will never have the same reflective qualities of paint with a clear coat.

Here they are.....

RE: Poor-Boys doing the Dakar.....
Nice job.

The only car that looks good in yellow that I can think of now is a lambo. The others don't look bad but not good.

Nice work guys. Nothing better than an older lady that's been well kept and dresses stylishly Bluebiggrin.

I must admit - when I read the subject of the thread, I pictured Don and Megesh in the desert washing the trucks between stages Rofl

Lovely car. A bit too yellow for me though.

Must admit. The thread title had me thinking of a Pajero ...

RE: Poor-Boys doing the Dakar.....
do you have to be more careful when polishing single stage paint, are the swirls & scratches harder or easier to get rid of. or do you go ahead normally as if it had a clearcoat?

nice work again guys.

We pretty much went about as normal, the big difference was that the pads turned yellow as you polished Bluebiggrin

I did however notice that the swirls are much less apparent on single stage than in clear coated cars

RE: Poor-Boys doing the Dakar.....
Single stage paints are usually the same thickness a regular base coat/clear coat paint so I don't think it makes too much difference. Always work carefully when machine polishing though regardless of the paint type Wink
