RE: Hi all
@ Freerider : The orbital is expensive as far as orbitals go. I think the correction ability of the Flex would be pretty much on par with a Makita 6040 in forced rotation mode so I dunno if it is worth the almost R1500 premium over the Makita.......Will get some prices on a bulk order of say 3 machines to see if we can squeeze some more discount out of them Wink

@ Calypso : The 1100rpm min setting is apparently 900rpm's on 220V versions and only the 110v versions are 1100rpm's. Also I asked on one of the forums, the 1100/900 rpm is the maximum NO LOAD (no pad or backing plate and off the surface) speed with the trigger fully depressed, you can feather the trigger to get anywhere from 0-900/1100rpms with it on the slowest settings. According to the guys who have used them the speed setting isn't an issue.......Still awaiting confirmation from the local agents however on the min speed for the SA model as well as the speed control trigger Wink

@ Starvekos : We don't have the Flex DA, Rustbucket has a rotary and then we had the old Shield orbital. As for another detailing day I dunno, will have to put up some sort of feeler thread and see who is keen on coming Wink
