Hey howzit Lenny,

I'm quite shocked to see an 84 RWD that hasnt been hacked up and made into a drift car Bluebiggrin

@ Albow grease, I will post more pics of her very soon. She will be going for a valet in the next few days. Got a quote at Power Glaze for R450. Is that reasonable? I know his work is good and stuff, and he said he will remove my seats and have carpet washed too. Your thoughts on this please guysThumb

Thanks for the very warm welcomeThumbsup2

RE: Greetings
Well you get "valets" and you get "valets". Then you get full detailing, as done by many on this forum.

TBH, R450.00 for a valet, including taking the seats out and doing the carpets sounds VERY CHEAP!!!

The question is, what is he going to do exactly?

Well, the car has just come back from the panel shop, so even though the interior was closed up the dust still managed to settle inside the car. The seats and dash is all covered with dust. He mentioned quite a few things like some dash treatment amongst others, and I know he will be washing the carpet too. It also includes a full wash and some detailing on bumpers, beadings etc

Sheesh, 450 sounds cheap
check some of there work first
its either very cheap or a very expensive car wash and vacuum job
be cautious cos cant really shoot anybody down if i dont know their work
maybe they are good maybe they not

Yo dude how goes it. Are u talking about powerglaze next to sanlam in parow? i know the guy his name is chris. in fact my uncle owns the tyre and fitment place next door. i use to casual there during holidays ( for my uncle that is)

I am a bit sceptical about his work. I know of friends who have not been entirely happy with his service for different reasons. One thing i know for sure is that he buys industrial cleaning agent for soap. thats just my 2 cents take it dont take it.

P.S i have never ever seen them buff a car with a machine

I know he usually use to charge about R700 for a full valet and then another R700 for the powerglaze wax.

Another thing i forgot to mention was that apart from the washing process, everything else is done outside in the sunlight.

Yo guy wotzup. My car has been there before for removal of overspray and a glaze. The results were AMAZING! He removed all my swirl marks and the glaze has lasted for more than 6 months now. He claims that he uses his own product. The guy that owns the place is Anthony. But u are right, it is at Sanlam Centre in Parow.

How long ago were u there? Maybe different owners?

Different strokes for different folks i presume. i think anthony is the brother.Look make no bones about it they are busy, so they must be doing something right. Its just that i dont know if i would use them. I would rather pay a bit extra and get somebody like poor boys out. but then again thats my personal preference. but thats cos i use to see him every weekend and holidays from STD 8 till 4th yr campus.
4th year campus was 2007.

I dont really like to down other ppl so ill leave it at that. on that note i have heard that the guy in Ottery is quite good.
