Eish thats rough. My wife's car was out of motorplan since last year and we started taking her car to another vw/audi accredited mechanic out in the west rand infact yesterday her car went in for a major service and the service came to R1200. He used to work for audi and now all the okes that are out of motor plans go to him. Last year my wife also needed the water pump replaced and cambelt service and it came to under R2000 I think it was R1300 or R1600...

Thought i'd give you guys an update!
Sent both quotes through to Hatfield and asked the Dealer Principle to look into the HUGE pricing discrepancy...
Their explanation is that the quote given to me was a guesstimate... Yeah Right!
They have now offered to beat Barons quote to keep me happy and coming back....

You go Onyx!! Many service centers try make up on new car retail revenue loss via services costs... not delicious!
