Some paint attention

In November 2008 I had my car done by Lambchop & Kev with his (then) new Flex and goodies. The results were awesome.

In the meantime i've been washing, polishing, waxing my car with all sorts of stuff and decided to remove it all and start from scratch.

I started off by washing my car with a good dose of CWG, followed by claying, rinsing, CG pro-polish and Collinite 845.

I find it very difficult taking good reflective photos of white paint, but here is the results. The beading of the 845 is excellent and I had to wet the surface with a mist instead of my hose to keep the water on the paint, otherwise it would just run off immediately leaving little to photograph.

The pro polish definitely brought the shine back to the paintwork, but it's a royal B1@tch removing the polish residue by hand once dried. As the polish turns completely white you cannot see where you missed a spot. Except for these 2 problems, the pro polish left the paint with great shine, and once covered with the Colli leaves a very impressive "wet look" finish.

Ha ha!! The Fiesta just managed to be in the shot. Was not intentional. I gave the Fiesta the same treatment last weekend, but did not take any pics. Maybe I should.
