I cant auto size a banner, so how about something that fades off to the right?

I was going to ask if the banner could be scaled, or alternatively if you can set the 'width' of the forum to something like 1024 or maybe 800

I can set the container width. 800px probably better, the only problem is that IE and FF seem to translate px differently for some reason.

I suppose the logo could also be floated
