Welcome to Waxon Zaid, great to have what I am sure is one of the 1st, if not the onl Mauritian on a detailing forum

What sort of product range, etc is available to you over there?

Yes, I’m the first one on Waxon but not the last I’m sure.

Detailing is relatively unknown here, only car wash and valeting businesses being popular.As such professional detailing products are very few. A small selection of the Megs consumer line is available but they’re overpriced. Better off buying thems from the Net. Abel Auto compounds and polishes are used by body shops.

I’ve tried Farecla G3 and Megs M80 on a scrap hood with a rotary, but the end results haven’t quite as expected, swirls still apparent thiugh other defects were removed or reduced.

May be pads used lacked cutting, my technique (speed & pressure)being incorrect or polish not worked enough or too much.

Forgot to tell you guys the rotary is a Clarke CP180 (5 kg) it’s a long story, i’ll tell you later.
