Thanks man, as stated by Metsu and Carn, the distilled water is used to prep the buffing pad.

I also use it occasionally while buffing, just to keep the pad nice and moist, Menzerna is a water based polish so this works very well.

Thanks Don - Any pics from Engine compartment - the phat intercooler is a dead giveaway that this baby is blown !!
