SL65 - Facelift

The dealer gave me a ring yesterday to say that they got a new facelift SL65 in the shop. I dunno how popular they are in your parts of the country but this is the first one in PE. Also what you cant see in the pic is the new Merc pearl white metallic paint, very nice.




Nice real carbon fiber engine cover.


But check out this holy frikken orangepeel. Anyone have some sandpaper ready?

Oh and these pics were taken just after they stripped off the shipping gunk, it was still awating its fresh application of Auto Armour glue.

Must be honest the new SL is a mixed bag for me. The front end is very angular and aggresive whereas the bum seems very rounded and soft....very odd on the eye IMHO

Calypso why don't you offer your services to them, sure the Flex would love to hookup with a fellow Germanite

The headlights just don't work for me. Don't know why but something about it looks odd.

I would rather take a Audi R8, especially with a V10 probably coming.

The Audi dealer should have a v10 R8 in a week or to, will gets some pics of that as soon as it arrives. I do like this facelift those, there are alot of other nice changes, Alcantara headliner, diamond stiched seats, it an awesome beast. And in straight line speed, one of the fastest around.

The dealer cant afford me, maybe the purchaser will though. Dont know him personally though.
