Paired with a compound, creates aggressive cutting.
On a test panel, i managed to cut through the clear coat on the edge
Well thats a given isnt it ?
Thats why its called a compounding pad and thats why you dont use an agressive compound unless its needed
Did you even measure the thickness of the paint before you tested it ?
and as a Given the edges are always thinner than the inner parts
And if you were using a rotary you need to be alot more carefull as the cutting power is more than that of a DA
